Land Matters
Land Affairs deals with municipal land. The municipality owns land, such as plots next to homes or on which homes are built, as well as public green spaces. This land can, for example, be sold, leased as a patio, granted under a long-term lease as farmland, or there may be a small plot of municipal land next to your home (a small green space).
How does it work?
The Land Affairs Department has its own policies. These include policies on the use of public land, general land policy, and the “Snippergroen” project. There is also a requirement to publish information regarding land (and real estate). Most topics have their own page (below) with specific information that you can review.
