Being homeless is a life-altering experience and can happen to anyone. You might lose your home, stay with family or friends temporarily, or not have a permanent place to live.

Are you about to lose your home? For example, because your landlord or bank has told you that you have to leave. Contact Voorschoten voor Elkaar right away. They’ll work with you to determine what kind of help you need. Sometimes homelessness can be prevented.

Overnight Shelter Outside Office Hours

After 5:00 p.m. and on weekends, you can go to De Nieuwe Energie on De Binnenvest. There, you’ll be provided with a bed for the night.

The next business day, you will have a meeting with a representative from Local Access Leiden Region. During that meeting, they will discuss what kind of assistance is available.

Help for young people between the ages of 16 and 27 who do not have a permanent address
