Maintenance level of public space
DE municipality is responsible for the maintenance of the outdoor space. This includes mowing grass, clearing litter, emptying waste bins, and maintaining streets. This is carried out in accordance with a specific maintenance level. There are several maintenance levels, namely A+, A, B, C, and D.

Maintenance level C
In 2023, the Voorschoten Municipal Council ( municipal council ) decided that the municipality would maintain public spaces at Level C. You can view this decision here: .
Maintenance level C means that DE municipality maintains the public space in a simple and cost-effective manner.
This can look untidy, with nearly full waste bins, weeds, and damage.
Helping with greenery
You can help the municipality by maintaining the green spaces in your neighborhood neighbourhood yourself—for example, by pulling weeds or adopting and caring for a small green space through neighbours .
