Jos Schoolman is carrying out major maintenance work on Raadhuislaan, Oranjeboomstraat, and the surrounding area. The neighborhood is being redesigned. As part of this, the contractor is replacing the sewer system and installing new pavement. Work is expected to begin on Monday, March 31, and continue through mid-2026. The contractor had already renovated theroundabout at the end of 2024.

Accessibility

To ensure that homes, stores, and streets remain easily accessible and to minimize disruption in the neighborhood, the work will be carried out in seven phases. The first phase is on Professor van Asserlaan. If a road needs to be closed to cars, residents will still be able to access their homes on foot or by bicycle (pushing it by hand) via temporary walkways. Emergency and first-response services will always be able to pass through.
