New roundabout Opened to Traffic
It's finished! After several weeks of work and a weekend of paving, Voorschoten now has a renovated and safer roundabout. The landscaping still needs to be completed, but pedestrians, cyclists, and cars can use it again.

“We all had to grin and bear it for a few weeks while the work was underway, but the roundabout has turned out beautifully,” says Councilman Hubert Schokker. “Whether you’re crossing on foot, driving a car, or riding a bike—you still need to be careful. But now there’s a new roundabout that’s a lot safer for all of us. This is a great step forward for the municipality of Voorschoten. Thanks to the professionals who made this happen, and thanks to the local residents for their patience, especially with the detours from last weekend!”
