Disability Parking Permit
With a disabled parking Map you can park in the disabled parking spaces in all EU countries, Liechtenstein, Norway, Iceland, and Switzerland. You must still adhere to local parking regulations.
There are 3 types of Maps.
Driver's Map
- For at least half a year, you will be unable to walk more than 100 metre on your own, even with assistive devices such as a cane or crutches.
- You are able to drive a car yourself.
Passenger's Map
- For at least half a year, you will be unable to walk more than 100 metre on your own, even with assistive devices such as a cane or crutches.
- You cannot drive a car yourself. You continuously need the assistance of a driver.
You can also apply for a combination of a driver's map and a passenger's map. For example, if you are permanently wheelchair-bound.
Institution Map
The management of an institution where people with a disability reside can apply for a disabled parking card for the transport of the residents.
