An event is an occasion that is open to the public, such as a street party, sports tournament, or performance. Would you like to organize an event in the municipality of Voorschoten? If so, you may need an event permit. For small events, a notification is sometimes sufficient.

Small Event Notification

For a small event, simply notifying the municipality is often sufficient. This depends on your plans. You must submit the notification at least 14 days in advance.

A notification is sufficient if your event meets the following conditions:

  • There will be a maximum of 60 visitors.
  • The event is taking place at a single location.
  • The event takes place between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
  • The event will not take place on the roadway, (moped lane), or in the parking lot.
  • Police, fire department, and ambulance personnel (emergency and rescue services) have free passage.
  • Alcohol is not sold here.

Does your event meet these requirements? If so, please fill out the online form under "Arrange it online right away."

Do you have more visitors, or do you not meet all the requirements? If so, you'll need a permit.
