Residential caravan pitch
The Municipality of Voorschoten considers it important that people can live in a way that suits them. This also applies to residential caravan dwellers.
To live in a residential caravan, you must be a descendant of residential caravan dwellers.
In 2018, the European Court of Human Rights ruled that the culture of residential caravan dwellers must be respected. This means that the government must ensure that this way of life remains possible. Municipalities must therefore offer sufficient pitches. This allows residential caravan dwellers to continue living close to their families and in their own way.
