Offering a vehicle for sale on public roads
- It is prohibited to park a vehicle on a public road for the purpose of selling it.
- If you still wish to do so, you need an exemption.
Please note
You are allowed to drive around in your vehicle with a sign attached to it that says 'for sale'.
What do I need?
- valid registration certificate
- statement regarding the location of your car and the period it is put up for sale
How long does it take?
You will receive a notification within 8 weeks regarding whether your exemption has been granted.
File an objection
If you disagree with the municipality's decision, you can lodge an objection within 6 weeks.
