Listing a Vehicle for Sale on a Public Road
- It is prohibited to park a vehicle on a public road for the purpose of selling it.
- If you still want to do this, you'll need an exemption.
Please note
You are allowed to drive around in your vehicle with a piece of paper that says “For Sale” stuck to it.
What do I need?
- valid vehicle registration certificate
- Statement regarding the location of your car and the period during which it will be for sale
How long does it take?
You will be notified within 8 weeks whether you have been granted the exemption.
File an objection
If you disagree with the municipality's decision, you may file an objection within 6 weeks.
