Reimbursement of Sewer Fees
You can only be reimbursed for the costs you incurred if the cause is on municipal property. If the cause is on your property, you must resolve the problem and pay the costs.
First, have the cause of the clog investigated. To do this, the owner must excavate the property boundary well (or have it excavated). You can find the location of the property boundary well under the product Sewer Drawings
What should I do?
To ensure a better and faster review, the municipality requires, at a minimum:
- A description of the event (location, date, and time).
- Any photos of the event. These can be attached as files. Please have them ready in digital format.
- Invoice for the contractor's expenses. Please have this ready in digital form.
- Contact information for the specialist(s), if you have engaged their services.
Please note:
- The processing of the submitted data does not, for the time being, imply any acknowledgment of liability on the part of the municipality.
- The municipality may ask you for additional information. If so, you will be notified within 2 weeks.
How long does it take?
Treatment period of 8 weeks.
