Sewer costs reimbursement
You can only receive a reimbursement for the costs you have incurred if the cause lies on municipal land. If the cause is on your own land, you must resolve the problem and pay the costs yourself.
First, have an investigation conducted to locate the cause of the blockage. To do this, the owner must have the property boundary inspection chamber excavated (or arrange for it to be excavated). What to do?
For a better and faster assessment, the municipality requests at least the following:
- A description of the incident (location, date, and time).
- Any photos of the incident. These can be added as attachments. Please keep these ready digitally.
- The contractor's invoice for the incurred costs. Please keep this ready digitally.
- Contact details of the specialist(s), in case you have engaged them.
Please note:
- For the time being, the processing of the data entered does not imply any acknowledgement of liability on the part of the municipality.
- The municipality may ask you for additional information. If this is the case, you will be notified within 2 weeks.
How long does it take?
