Starting April 1, a maximum of 5 trips to the landfill per day

Do you use the underground containers for general waste? Starting April 1, you’ll be limited to a maximum of 5 deposits per day per household. After that, your access card will be blocked until the next day. The municipality has noticed that residents sometimes dump their entire household contents into the underground containers. The containers are not intended for that purpose. As a result, the containers fill up much too quickly, causing other residents to leave their trash next to the container. You can take your bulky waste to the Avalex waste drop-off station in Wassenaar, or you can schedule a pickup through the municipal website.
