Flea Market
A flea market is a market where used or handmade items are offered for sale.
How does it work?
- If you want to organize a flea market in a building, you must apply for a flea market permit.
- If you want to organize an outdoor flea market (in a public space), you must apply for an event permit.
What should I do?
You must apply for the permit from the municipality. Please include the following information with your application:
- where you want to hold the flea market
- date of the flea market
- What time does the flea market start and end?
- the type of flea market and its size (such as the number of stalls)
- whether traffic measures are necessary
If you wish to play music and/or sell alcoholic beverages at the market, you must apply for a separate permit or exemption.

The fee is €59.10 (2026)
Article 4 Exemptions
Fees are not charged for:
the organization of activities that require a permit under the General Local Ordinance (APV) and that are organized by local groups, associations, and institutions operating on a nonprofit basis and for the public good, as evidenced by their articles of incorporation.
