Survey Results on Loans for Living at Home Longer
Through a survey, the Municipality of Voorschoten investigated whether residents were interested in a loan to continue living at home for longer. These were loans from the Stimuleringsfonds Volkshuisvesting Nederlandse gemeenten (SVn).
The survey was completed by 82 residents. That response rate is too low to yield a representative result. Furthermore, the loan is a relatively risky product for the municipality. After weighing all factors, the Municipal Executive ( executive board ) decided not to make the redemption loan available.
