Waste Collection Schedule
Would you like to know when we will pick up your trash? Please check thetrash collection calendar.
Make sure that:
- The mini container is placed in the garbage collection zone between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m.;
- The mini container is placed with the handle facing the street next to the other mini containers, with the lid closed;
- Do not place any loose waste near your container. It will not be collected!
- Do not place any glass, chemical waste, paper, clothing, bulky trash, or crushed stone in your container;
- During the winter months, it is important to mix the waste in the container to ensure that it can be emptied completely.
Large Waste Item Pickup Service

Places to Take Your Bulky Trash
As a resident of the municipality of Voorschoten, you can also take your large items of waste that don’t fit in the trash bin to the waste collection center in Wassenaar. Examples include: a couch, a mattress, wood, drywall, or construction debris. This location has several large containers where you can dispose of your waste.
Please remember to bring your Avalex pass with you when you visit the waste collection site. Avalex provides one Avalex pass per residential address. The pass is linked to the residential address and is registered with the Dutch Data Protection Authority. If you move, please leave the pass at your previous residence. The pass may only be used by individuals residing at the registered residential address.

Saturday 12:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m.
Waste collection, branches
You may have a lot of branches as a result of pruning bushes or trees. You can arrange for the municipality to remove these branches. For more information, please go toWaste Collection, Branches.
