Join the discussion on the Voorschoten 2040 Environmental Vision
On Monday, March 24, the Municipality of Voorschoten is hosting an open house for residents to discuss the Voorschoten 2040 Environmental Vision. Coffee will be served from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the library located at Wijngaardenlaan 4.
Over the past year, we’ve gathered countless ideas from residents, business owners, and community organizations: keeping the outlying areas green, building more homes, strengthening the economy, and making better use of public spaces to meet one another and stay active with amenities close to home. Now we’d like to continue our dialogue with the residents of Voorschoten about the actual decisions we’ll be making.
Information panels and comment cards
During the open house, interested members of the public can learn about the plans currently being developed through informational displays. City staff will be on hand to answer questions. You can share any additional concerns or suggestions regarding the proposed plans during conversations or by filling out the feedback cards that will be distributed.
Environmental Vision 2040
The 2024 Environmental Vision outlines our vision for Voorschoten in 2040 in the areas of energy, climate, housing, mobility, and the economy. The development of this vision is entering its penultimate phase. The draft will be presented to the city council before the summer. In October, the city council will decide on the final Environmental Vision for Voorschoten.
