Naturalization Ceremony, April 24
As of Thursday, April 24, 14 residents of Voorschoten can officially call themselves Dutch citizens. The naturalization ceremony, presided over by Mayor Stemerdink, took place in the presence of family and friends.
During the meeting, the candidates signed a declaration of allegiance, in which they pledged to respect the rights and obligations that come with Dutch citizenship.
