Naturalization Ceremony, July 10
As of Wednesday, July 10, 21 residents of Voorschoten can officially call themselves Dutch citizens. The naturalization ceremony, presided over by Mayor Nadine Stemerdink, took place in the presence of family and friends.
During the meeting, the candidates signed a declaration of allegiance, in which they pledged to respect the rights and obligations that come with Dutch citizenship.
