Traffic regulations are published in the digital edition of the municipal gazette. They can be viewed on theOfficial Notices website at. After publication, a traffic regulation is available for public review for 6 weeks.

Through the "About Your Neighborhood" websiteat, you can sign up to receive an email when a traffic decision is published regarding a location in your neighborhood.

To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Go tothe"About Your Neighborhood" page on the internet at;
  2. Click on "Email Service";
  3. Enter your email address, ZIP code, and house number, then click the black "Next Step" button; 
  4. Next to “around an address,” click the “+” to select the categories for which you want to use the email service;
  5. Check the box next to "traffic regulation." You can, of course, select multiple categories. Then proceed to the next step;
  6. You will now see a map with a red dot at the address you entered;
  7. You can specify the radius around the address you provided within which you would like to receive notifications about the publication of a traffic decision or other decision, and then proceed to the next step;
  8. Select the government agency from which you would like to receive notifications. In the case of traffic regulations, the municipality is not the only authority authorized to issue them. Then proceed to the next step
  9. A verification menu will appear. If the information is correct, you can confirm it by clicking “Confirm Email Service.” This will activate the email service. In the first email from overheid.nl, you will receive up to 200 messages published in the past 2 months.
