Legalise signature
Do you need to prove that the signature on a document is genuinely yours? You can have your signature legalised. You can arrange this with the municipality. The municipality will then declare that the signature is genuine.
Legalising a signature is often required:
- on documents that need to be sent abroad
- if you provide your authorisation for any reason—for example, if you are acting as a guarantor for family or friends from abroad
- if you wish to arrange an inheritance abroad
