Online Driver's License Applications in Voorschoten a Huge Success

This summer, a large number of municipalities in the Netherlands launched a pilot program for online driver’s license renewals. The municipality of Voorschoten joined the program on Monday, September 12, 2022. In Voorschoten, many applications are already being processed online. For our residents, this means much less paperwork and faster service.

On Friday, September 30, 2022, the first resident came to city hall to pick up her driver’s license. She had applied for it online. The major advantage of this updated process is that residents only need to come to city hall to pick up their driver’s license. A second benefit is having your photo taken: this can now be done at a large number of photo studios throughout the Netherlands, and no longer has to be done in the municipality where you live. This way, we’re all working together to improve services in Voorschoten!
