Felling a tree
You need an environmental permit only for felling or drastic pruning of trees listed on the list of trees worthy of protection. For trees not on this list, an licence is no longer required.
The list of trees worthy of preservation contains not only municipal trees, but also trees belonging to private individuals. Anyone who has a valuable tree in their garden that is included on the list of trees worthy of preservation received notification about this in October 2011.
Please note: If you wish to apply for an environmental permit for a tree listed on the tree list, you may do so only if you are the owner of the land on which the tree is located, or if you have the owner’s written authorisation (attach the authorization to the application).
