Using the Shoulder
You may not use a roadside for any purpose other than its intended use. For example, you may not simply park or camp there. You need permission from the municipality to do so.
What should I do?
You must apply for an exemption from the municipality. Please include the following information with your application:
- Why you want to use the shoulder
- the place
- the date and time you wish to use the shoulder
How long does it take?
You will be notified within 8 weeks whether you have been granted the exemption.
File an objection
If you disagree with the municipality's decision, you can file an objection within 6 weeks.
