Public Notice: Draft Environmental Vision for Voorschoten 2040
The Municipality of Voorschoten has developed a plan for the future of the village. This plan is called the Voorschoten 2040 Environmental Vision. Starting Friday, June 6, 2025, the plan will be available for public review for six weeks. This means that anyone can review it and provide feedback on the plan.
The Environmental Vision is intended to help the municipal government evaluate plans. Furthermore, this plan encourages residents and organizations to come up with ideas and launch initiatives that align with the Environmental Vision. The vision also serves as the basis for further plans and measures. The plan describes what our living environment currently looks like, what the challenges are, and where opportunities for improvement lie.

Would you like more information about the Environmental Vision? If so, please join us at one of our information sessions on Tuesday, June 17, or Wednesday, July 2, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Voorschoten Library.
Provide feedback on the plan
Would you like to comment on the plan? If so, you can submit your comments from Friday, June 6, through Monday, July 28, 2025. Please send your email totoekomst@voorschoten.nl by July 28. Include “Comments on the Environmental Vision” in the subject line. You may also submit your comments in person. To do so, please make an appointment by calling the Voorschoten municipality’s general phone number, 14071.
