Moederhuis's 100th Anniversary Attracts Many Visitors
We look back on the “100 Years of Moederhuis” exhibition with great pleasure. Mayor Nadine Stemerdink opened the exhibition together with the former mayors in attendance. In doing so, she also kicked off Open Monument Day in Voorschoten.
In her opening speech, the mayor reflected on the history of the Moederhuis and the building’s significance to Voorschoten: “Today, we’re sharing with one another what the Moederhuis has meant to us over the past decades—from joyful weddings and unforgettable visitors to late-night meetings and the hardships of wartime.”
