Submit a Woo request

The goal of the Woo is to make the government and government information more accessible. The public disclosure of public information is in the interest of residents. The principles of the Woo align seamlessly with the core values of the municipality of Voorschoten: professionalism, reliability, and simplicity. The municipality proactively provides a great deal of information, but you can also submit a request for disclosure of specific information.

Good to Know

Anyone is allowed to submit a Woo request.
Your request must concern information from the municipality, such as projects or policy.
The information must be held by the municipality and not yet be publicly available.
Indicate in your request as precisely as possible what information you wish to receive.
The municipality will generally process your request within four weeks, although the processing period is sometimes extended.
There are no costs associated with submitting a Woo request. However, costs may be charged for making copies.
If information is already public, you cannot submit another Woo request for it.
If you wish to reuse information that is already public (for example, for an article, thesis, or your own website), you must submit a Who request rather than a Woo request. Who stands for the Open Government Information Reuse Act.
