Submit a Woo Request

The goal of the Woo is to make government and government information more accessible. The disclosure of public information is in the interest of residents. The principles of the Woo align seamlessly with the core values of the municipality of Voorschoten: professionalism, reliability, and simplicity. The municipality proactively provides a great deal of information, but you can also submit a request for the disclosure of specific information.

Would you like to know if certain municipal information is publicly available? Check the list of public documents or send your question to the Woo contact person at woo@voorschoten.nl.

Good to Know

Anyone can submit a Woo request.
Your request must concern information from the municipality, such as projects or policies.
The information must be in the municipality's possession and not yet public.
In your request, please specify as precisely as possible what information you would like to receive.
In principle, the municipality will process your request within four weeks, but sometimes the processing time is extended.
There is no fee for submitting a Woo request. However, you may be charged for copies.
If the information is already public, you cannot submit another Woo request for it.
If you wish to reuse information that is already in the public domain (for example, for an article, thesis, or on your own website), you should submit a Who request rather than a Woo request. Who stands for the Government Information Reuse Act.
