Amendment to the Allocation Policy and Point System for Mobile Homes and Mobile Home Sites

The current priority ranking system for mobile homes in the regional Housing Ordinance has proven ineffective for the target group of mobile home residents, given the human rights framework. For this reason, we have developed a new waiting list and points system in collaboration with a group of representatives of mobile home residents and Forticon B.V.

Who is eligible for a trailer site?

To be eligible for a trailer park site, one must meet the lineage requirement (you, your parents, and your grandparents must have demonstrably lived in a trailer). The trailer home residents who indicated a desire to move during the needs assessment (which we conducted in 2020) and who are known to the municipalities have already been asked if they would like to enrol for the waiting list. This news item is intended for those who have not yet been contacted about this.  

You can register as a home seeker in the Holland Rijnland region via www.hureninhollandrijnland.nl. If you are a registered mobile home resident looking for a site or a mobile home and have selected multiple housing types in your search profile, you may not have received an email from Forticon B.V. with information about your enrolment . These emails were only sent to registered home seekers who selected only “site” or “mobile home” in their search profile. See the image below.

enrol Waiting list for RV sites

To be eligible for the waiting list for mobile homes and mobile home sites, you must register enrol for the new waiting list. To do so, please send an email to paula@forticon.nl with the following information:

  • Registration number for rentals in Holland Rijnland;
  • Registration date;
  • Date of birth;
  • First name(s);
  • Last name;
  • Current home address;
  • Email address;
  • Phone number.

Forticon will then send you a form requesting additional information from you. This information is also related to the principle of descent. It is needed to complete the “ enrolment ” on the waiting list. Only people on the waiting list are eligible for a rental travel trailer or campsite that becomes available.

Within what timeframe?

We are giving you the opportunity to submit the above information via paula@forticon.nl. The deadline is February 4, 2022. After this date, we will review the information again and, if it is complete, add your name to the waiting list for mobile homes and/or sites. It is therefore in your best interest to submit the requested information in a timely manner. The plan is for this waiting list to take effect on March 1, 2022.
