Councilor Van der Elst Gives the Green Light for "Het Fortuyn van Voorschoten"
Het Fortuyn is being built on the former Intratuin site in Voorschoten. Under the watchful eyes of future residents, project stakeholders, and immediate neighbors, Councilman Van der Elst officially kicked off construction.
The Fortuyn development in Voorschoten consists of a wide range of homes and housing types, from townhouses and apartments to semi-detached homes and a few detached villas. In total, there are 96 single-family homes and 33 public housing apartments. The homes are situated in a beautiful natural setting characterized by lovely avenues, wadis, green parks, and the banks of the Korte Vliet. Het Fortuyn in Voorschoten is thus set to become an attractive, future-proof residential neighborhood. Zeinstra Veerbeek Architects is responsible for the design of Het Fortuyn.
The Fortuyn is a development by Synchroon in close collaboration with the municipality of Voorschoten. Niersman B.V., a construction company based in Voorschoten, is responsible for the construction. The housing association De Sleutels owns the public housing units.
