Roadwork on Voorschoterweg (N447) from August 26 through August 29
The province is repaving the Voorschoterweg N447 between Voorschoten and Leiden. From August 26 through 29, the road will be closed in the evenings and at night.
The asphalt on this section of the N447 is no longer in good condition. That is why the province of South Holland is replacing it. This will ensure that the road remains safe and accessible.
From where to where does the fence run?
The Voorschoterweg (N447) is closed between the intersection with the Leidseweg in Voorschoten and the Churchilllaan in Leiden. The Hofweg is not accessible.
When is the road closed?
The road closure will be in effect from Tuesday, August 26, through Friday, August 29, between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The road will be open during the day. This means the closure will last for three evenings and nights. The work may be completed a day earlier.
How are the construction works affecting you?
Neighbors may experience disturbances from noise caused by milling and paving work, light from work lamps, and construction traffic in the area. The province is doing its best to minimize these disturbances.
