Construction Work on the Wijngaardenlaan Tunnel

Cleaning work will begin on Monday evening, October 3, in the tunnel on Wijngaardenlaan. The gutters along the roadway that drain water will be cleaned. The work will begin at 8:00 p.m. and is expected to be completed by 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, October 4. Bad weather may cause the work to take longer than expected.

Accessibility

During the work, one lane of the tunnel will be closed. Traffic will be rerouted through the other lane by traffic controllers.

Nuisance

While the work is being carried out, you may experience some noise disturbance due to the various machines being used. The municipality is working with the contractors to minimize this disturbance as much as possible.
