Construction Work on the Wijngaardenlaan Tunnel
On Wednesday, July 21, at 8:00 p.m., work will begin to clean the tunnel on Wijngaardenlaan. The work is expected to be completed on Thursday, July 22, at 6:00 a.m.
The Work
The gutters along the roadway that drain water are cleaned by brushing and high-pressure washing. This ensures that water drainage is properly regulated and maintained to prevent clogs.
Traffic Measures
During the work, one lane of the Wijngaardelaan tunnel will be closed. Traffic will be rerouted through the other lane by traffic controllers.
Nuisance
The evening and nighttime work may cause noise pollution due to the various machines being used.
