Construction Work on Raadhuislaan, Oranjeboomstraat, and the Surrounding Area

On Monday, October 27, contractor Jos Scholman will begin work on Koninklijke Marinelaan. The work is part of the project “Major Maintenance on Raadhuislaan, Oranjeboomstraat, and the surrounding area (including the roundabout).” The contractor will break up the street, replace the sewer lines, and repave the street.

The work area is Koninklijke Marinelaan, between the bridge at Molenlaan and the bridge near the parking lot at Wagenerf. Work during this phase is expected to take eight weeks.

Accessibility

The work area is closed to cars and cyclists. Pedestrians and cyclists walking their bikes can always pass through the construction zone. De Merelhof and the parking lot at Wagenerf will always remain accessible via a temporary detour. From the start of construction, this route will be accessible from Molenlaan. At a later stage, this will be reversed, and the route will be accessible from the south side.

Parking

Street parking will not be available during the construction work.
