Roadwork on Papeweg (N448) from September 1 through September 5
The province is repaving the Papeweg N448 between Voorschoten and Wassenaar. From September 1 through September 5, the road will be closed in the evenings and at night.
The asphalt on this section of the N448 is no longer in good condition. That is why the province of South Holland is replacing it. This will help keep the road safe and open to traffic.
From where to where does the fence run?
The N448 is closed from the intersection with Dobbeweg to the intersection with the N44. At the Wijngaardenlaan/Rouboslaan roundabout, there is a barrier on the shoulder and a traffic controller. Dobbewijk and Donklaan remain accessible from Voorschoten.
When is the road closed?
The road closure will be in effect from Monday, September 1, through Friday, September 5, between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The road will be open during the day. The work may be completed a day earlier.
How are the construction works affecting you?
Neighbors may experience disturbances from noise caused by milling and paving work, light from work lamps, and construction traffic in the area. The province is doing its best to minimize these disturbances.
Detour and Advice
Yellow signs at the site indicate the detour routes. The detour runs via the N447 > N206 > A4 > N434 > A44. Please allow for extra travel time.
