Construction Work on Louis Couperuslaan

Starting Monday, May 1, revetment will be installed on Louis Couperuslaan, parallel to the houseboats, along the bank of the canal. The work will be carried out by Loonbedrijf Roodenburg on behalf of the municipality of Voorschoten. Work will take place on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is expected to be completed on Friday, June 30. Bad weather may cause the work to be delayed.

Accessibility

During the construction work, passage will not be possible on weekdays. Boat owners may use the passageway on weekends.

Nuisance

During the work, two pontoon bridges will be constructed to transport the machinery to the other side of the water. You may experience noise disturbances due to the operation of the machinery. The municipality has made arrangements with the contractor to minimize the disturbance as much as possible.
