Work along the Velostrada bike route
Grid operator Tennet is conducting work along the Velostrada in Voorschoten due to recent copper thefts from high-voltage poles. The work will take place between Monday, September 30, and Friday, October 4, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Bad weather may cause the work to run late or possibly start a little later.
The bike path along the railroad tracks, between Horstlaan and Rosenburgherlaan, will be closed to cyclists and pedestrians during the construction work. In addition, the railroad tunnel at Horst and Voordelaan will be closed to all road users. Traffic will be rerouted via detour routes. These detour routes will be indicated on-site by traffic signs. During the evening and at night, you can use the roads as usual.
