If you do not have a job, you must register with the UWV WERKbedrijf. The WERKbedrijf tries to help you find work within 6 months. They work together with entrepreneurs, the intermunicipal Social Investigation Department, the Regional Notification and Coordination Centre for Early School Leaving, and the Youth Career Centre.

The municipality also supports you in finding work. To this end, the municipality offers various facilities:

• Mediation. In this process, you apply for jobs yourself and the municipality supports you in doing so.
• Education. Education is intended for residents of the municipality of Voorschoten who are participating in a reintegration process where it has become apparent that finding suitable work is unsuccessful (partly) due to a lack of knowledge and/or skills.
