Road Closures on May 4 and 5
On Sunday, May 4, we commemorate various groups of war victims. On Monday, May 5, we celebrate the liberation of the Netherlands in 1945 and the fact that we have been living in freedom ever since. Various gatherings and activities are organized during these days. This will affect traffic.
May 4 Commemoration
During the commemoration on Sunday, May 4, Koningin Julianalaan and the roundabout near City Hall will be closed from 7:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
May 5 Celebration on Voorstraat
On Monday, May 5, various activities will be held on Voorstraat in celebration of Liberation Day. As a result, Voorstraat will be closed to cars between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
