Water Main Bursts on Horstlaan (Update: July 28)

A water main burst on Horstlaan on Saturday morning, July 25. As a result, the surrounding area had no water or lower water pressure, and the road had to be closed to traffic. The pavement will be repaired on July 29.

Due to the outage, some local residents were unable to get water from their taps or experienced lower water pressure until Saturday evening.

Road Closed

To repair the water main, part of the asphalt had to be removed. For that reason, Horstlaan was closed to traffic on Saturday between Veurseweg and the railroad tunnel.

Asphalt Repair

On July 29, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., the asphalt on Horstlaan will be repaired. Two traffic controllers will direct traffic.
