Water Main Bursts on Horstlaan (Update at 7:45 p.m.)

A water main burst on Horstlaan on Saturday morning. As a result, the surrounding area had no water or lower water pressure, and the road had to be closed to traffic. The leak has since been repaired. Horstlaan will reopen by Sunday morning at the latest.

Due to the outage, some local residents were unable to get water from their taps or experienced lower water pressure until early evening.

Road Closed

To repair the water main, part of the asphalt on Horstlaan had to be removed, among other things. As a result, Horstlaan was closed to traffic from Veurseweg to the railroad tunnel.
