Where will we get our energy from in the future? Share your opinion

In the Netherlands, we want to use more and more renewable energy. Solar and wind are important sources of renewable energy. But even this energy has to be generated somewhere. Which areas in your village and the surrounding region do you think are suitable for this? And which ones are less suitable, or not at all? Would you like to be involved in energy projects in your neighborhood? If so, how? As the municipality of Voorschoten, we’d love to hear your thoughts.

Holland Rijnland Regional Energy Strategy

The municipality is collaborating with the Holland-Rijnland Energy Region on the Regional Energy Strategy (RES). This strategy outlines how and where we can save energy and generate it sustainably. It also explores options for heating our homes without natural gas and how we can adapt our environment to the changing climate. The questionnaire was developed on behalf of the Holland-Rijnland Energy Region and in collaboration with the municipality of Voorschoten.
