Voorschoten’s “compliment” for Conner van Kooten

Conner van Kooten from Voorschoten passed his VWO exam with eight A’s. On Friday, June 18, Mayor Nadine Stemerdink personally congratulated him on this outstanding achievement. The mayor also presented Conner with a Voorschoten “compliment.”

Mayor Nadine Stemerdink:“Conner has shown what you can achieve with perseverance, hard work, and, of course, support. It takes courage to dare to choose your own path at such a young age. I have great admiration and respect for that. Never let anyone convince you that you can’t do something. Conner is a wonderful example of that.”

The Voorschoten “Compliment” is a glass object conceived last year in collaboration with Koninklijke Begeer. This is the first time a “Compliment” has been awarded. It is an honor bestowed only for truly exceptional achievements.
