Voorschoten Awards 2025: Nominate Your Hero
Following successful editions in 2023 and 2024, Het Weekend van Voorschoten, in collaboration with the municipality, is once again organizing the Voorschoten Awards this year. The festive awards ceremony will take place on Friday evening, September 12, 2025. Nominations can now be submitted.
The Voorschoten Awards were established in 2023 to honor the many volunteers, athletes, and cultural enthusiasts who dedicate themselves to Voorschoten. With these Awards, we not only shine a spotlight on Voorschoten’s rich community life, but we also celebrate the indispensable contribution of volunteers to our community.
Categories
There are four main categories:
Sports– For exceptional achievements and dedication in the world of sports.
Culture– For an outstanding contribution to the arts and culture in Voorschoten.
Volunteer Work– For people who selflessly dedicate themselves to helping others.
Youth– A special nomination for young people who excel in sports, culture, or volunteer work.
Anyone who has made a special contribution in these areas in 2025 is eligible for nomination. Think of the youth coach who has been there for years, the volunteer who runs errands for the elderly, or the choir that enriches our village with beautiful music. An expert jury will review all nominations and select one winner per category.
