Extended processing time for travel documents on July 4

On Thursday, July 4, the municipality will be implementing a new back-office system for travel documents. If you apply for a travel document on that day, processing will take one additional business day. After July 4, the usual processing times will apply again.

If you apply for a travel document on July 4, it will be ready on Monday, July 15, not on Friday, July 12. If you submit an expedited application on July 4, your travel document will be ready on Tuesday, July 9, not on Thursday, July 4. The standard processing time applies to driver’s licenses.
