Election Fair at Treubplein in Voorschoten

The seven political parties in Voorschoten are organizing an election fair on Treubplein. It will take place on Saturday, March 14, the last Saturday before the municipal elections. The election fair will help residents make their choice on Wednesday, March 18.

Municipal elections will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. This is an important day, because the Voorschoten City Council makes decisions on issues that directly affect residents, such as housing, traffic, healthcare, safety, and waste collection.

Get to Know Us and Ask Questions

To introduce residents to the participating political parties, an election fair will be held on Saturday, March 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There, residents will meet the party leaders, other candidates for the municipal council, and volunteers. They will also be able to ask questions about the decisions the parties plan to make for the village. In addition, residents will be able to compare the different parties and their positions.

Seven market stalls

Each political party has its own campaign booth on Treubplein. Residents can find the following parties there: GROENLINKS / Dutch Labor Party (PvdA), VVD, Voorschoten Lokaal, CDA, D66, SP, and Forum for Democracy.
