Traffic Plan
In 2019, several traffic measures were implemented in the Voorschoten “ centre ” area, resulting from the 2018 Voorschoten City Center Plan and the Voorstraat Voorschoten Plan. This led to several objections from residents. Consequently, the Municipal Executive’s “ executive board ” (Committee on Urban Planning and Development) decided to commission a further study. The so-called “ centre ” Traffic Study for Voorschoten has since been completed and was sent to the city council for information just before the summer recess. Traffic Plan
The Municipality of Voorschoten has drawn up a traffic plan for the period 2017-2020.
In our traffic policy, we focus on improving:
- Traffic safety
- Livability
- Accessibility
In doing so, we distinguish between various types of traffic, namely pedestrians, bicycle traffic, public transport, and motorized traffic. Parking is also addressed in the traffic plan.
