Why has the WOZ value of my home increased?

The Gouwe-Rijnland Tax Cooperation (BSGR) determines the value of your home (WOZ value). The reference date is January 1, 2022, when the housing market was overheated and prices were extremely high.

Why was the property tax increased?

The WOZ value of your home is reflected on your property tax (OZB) assessment. The city council has decided to increase the OZB by 3.1%. This increase is based on the inflation index published by the Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis (CPB).
