Use of airspace
What is it?
- It is prohibited to take off from or land on any area other than an airport.
- If you want to do this, you will need an exemption from the province.
- If you are granted the exemption, you are permitted to take off from or land in locations other than an airport.
Flying a Drone
For safety reasons, you cannot fly a drone everywhere. For example, flying is prohibited in areas around airports. You may fly in the uncontrolled portion of the airspace. This portion is not monitored by air traffic control. Balloons
You usually need permission to release balloons near an airport. Permission may be denied if air traffic could be disrupted. For example, if the wind direction affects the speed of the balloons.
What are the costs?
There are no costs associated with the municipal notification.
Arrange it online
The municipality of Voorschoten uses DigiD. For more information about DigiD
DigiD stands for Digital Identity and is used to conduct business with a (semi)governmental organization online. Anyone who has a citizen service number (BSN number) and is registered in the Municipal Personal Records Database (BRP) can apply for a DigiD.

Currently, users can only log in using the national digital identity systems of the following EU member states: Belgium, Germany, Estonia, Italy, Croatia, Luxembourg, and Spain.
