Oversight of the Social Support Act (Wmo)

The municipality must ensure that the support provided under the Wmo is properly organized and safe. To this end, the municipality has established quality standards. GGD Haaglanden verifies whether the services meet these standards.

When should you contact the GGD Haaglanden?

Please contact GGD Haaglanden if you wish to report an incident related to the provision of support. You can do so if you yourself are receiving support under the Wmo, or if you are a family member, informal caregiver, or support worker for someone who is receiving support. This may involve incidents of violence, an unexpected death, a suicide (or attempted suicide), serious and/or permanent physical injury, mental distress, serious inappropriate behavior, or intimidating behavior.
