Oversight of Youth Services
The municipality must ensure that youth services are accessible, well-organized, and safe. To this end, the municipality has established quality standards. The Health and Youth Care Inspectorate (IGJ) monitors whether the facilities meet these standards.

Did something (serious) happen?
If you wish to report an incident involving the provision of youth services, please contact the National Care Reporting Center. You can do so if you yourself are receiving assistance under the Youth Act, or as a parent, caregiver, or support person for someone who is receiving assistance. This may include incidents of violence, an unexpected death, a suicide (or attempted suicide), serious and/or permanent physical injury, mental suffering, serious inappropriate behavior, theft, or intimidating behavior. If anything other than what is described above has occurred in your interactions with your healthcare provider, please feel free to contact your healthcare provider or the municipality.
What does the National Healthcare Hotline do?
The National Healthcare Hotline offers a listening ear, information, and advice if you have a question or complaint about the youth services provided. You can call them, fill out the contact form, or write a letter. The National Healthcare Hotline does not resolve your complaint. This is the responsibility of the youth service provider itself.
