The municipality must ensure that youth services are accessible, well-organized, and safe. To this end, the municipality has established quality standards. The Health, Safety, and Youth Inspectio healthcare , and Jeugd (IGJ) monitors whether the facilities meet these standards.

Has something (serious) happened?
If you wish to report an incident involving the provision of youth services, please contact the National Reporting Center at Health. You can do so if you yourself are receiving assistance under the Youth Act, or as a parent, guardian, or caregiver of someone who is receiving assistance. This may involve incidents of violence, an unexpected death, a suicide (or attempted suicide), serious and/or permanent physical injury, mental distress, serious inappropriate conduct behaviour, theft, or intimidation behaviour. If something else has happened other than what is described above in your contact with your health provider, please feel free to contact your health provider or the municipality.
What does the National Reporting Center “ Health ” do?
The National Help Desk Health offers a listening ear, information, and advice if you have a question or complaint about the youth services provided. You can call them, fill out the contact form, or write a letter. The National Help Desk Health does not resolve your complaint. This is the responsibility of the youth service provider itself.
