Grant Program to Promote the Expansion of Sports Opportunities in the Municipality of Voorschoten

With this grant, the municipality of Voorschoten aims to encourage the construction or renovation of sports facilities that will lead to the expansion of sports offerings in Voorschoten. The target group for this grant program is a recreational sports club or management foundation. Through its activities, the recreational sports club must make a demonstrable positive contribution to the range of sports and physical activity options in Voorschoten, as outlined in the established municipal policy objectives within the current policy framework.

Who is it for?

The grant is intended for recreational sports clubs in Voorschoten or the management foundation affiliated with a recreational sports club.

Activities Eligible for Funding

The grant helps increase the functionality of the sports facility, thereby expanding its sports amenities;

Amount of the subsidy

For applications under this theme, a minimum of €7,500 and a maximum of €200,000 may be requested per recreational sports club or management foundation during the term of this program, depending on the amount of eligible costs. Unless the grant ceiling does not provide sufficient room to award the specified minimum amount, an amount less than the minimum may be awarded until the grant ceiling is reached.

How long does it take?

After you have applied for a grant online using the digital application form that you printed, filled out, and scanned, you will immediately receive a confirmation of receipt by email. This email will also include your case number.
Upon receipt, a processing period of up to 8 weeks will begin. This period may be extended once by up to 4 weeks. You will be notified of the decision as soon as possible.
If the grant application is incomplete, the decision period will be extended. If necessary, missing information will be requested.
If your application is approved, you will receive a decision stating the amount and the conditions. This decision will indicate whether you still need to submit a statement of account (final settlement).

Problems with using DigiD have been resolved!

Until recently, the "Extend Session" button wasn't working properly on DigiD. This was due to a nationwide security measure. Fortunately, the issue has been resolved.

If you pause temporarily and no activity is detected for a while, the message “Extend session” will appear on the screen. This extension now works again for requests made via DigiD.
