Student Grant

Are you a student with an illness or disability that prevents you from working while you’re in school? If so, you may be eligible for a student allowance.

How does it work?

  • You are registered as a resident of Voorschoten
  • You receive student financial aid (WSF or WTOS)
  • You are not eligible for Wajong benefits (Youth Disability Benefits Act)

Monthly Amounts

Your net pay depends on your age, and we take any internship stipend into account. 

Amounts effective July 1, 2026:

- If you are 21 years of age or older: €390.07
- If you are 20 years of age: €312.06
- If you are 19 years of age: €234.05
- If you are 18 years of age: €195.04
- You are 17 years old: €154.08
- You are 16 years old: €134.58
- You are 15 years old: €117.03
- Exemption from internship allowance (Art. 7b): €234.05
