Are you studying and do you have an illness or disability that prevents you from working alongside your studies? Then you may be eligible for a study allowance.

How does it work?

  • As a resident of Voorschoten, you are enrolled
  • You receive student finance (WSF or WTOS)
  • You are not entitled to a Wajong benefit (Young Persons Incapacity for Work Provision Act)

Amounts per month

Your net allowance depends on your age and we take any internship allowance into account. 

Amounts as of 1 July 2026:

- You are 21 years of age or older: € 390.07
- You are 20 years of age: € 312.06
- You are 19 years of age: € 234.05
- You are 18 years of age: € 195.04
- You are 17 years of age: € 154.08
- You are 16 years of age: € 134.58
- You are 15 years of age: € 117.03
- Exemption for internship allowance (art. 7b): € 234.05
